Linda Black's Bio
Linda P. Black, RN, BSN is a graduate of Howard University
College of Nursing in 1974. She is in the graduate program at George
Mason University for her MSN degree. She has been practicing nursing
for 34 years in a variety of clinical settings. For the last 10 years
she has specialized in cardiac nursing. She is currently employed
at the Washington Hospital Center in invasive cardiology as a clinical
nurse in the cardiac catheterization lab. Her topic of discussion
will be cardiovascular disease among African-Americans.
